    SARCS has provided food relief, first aid services, restoring of family links and psychosocial support for displaced persons during the Xenephobic attacks. SARCS is currently providing food at The Chatsworth camp.

    I would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of the South African Red Cross Society. It is a very painful day for me, as I am leaving this family today. As the Zulu idiom states: “ukuwa kwenye indlu ukuvuka kwenye indlu.” I believe that there is someone within the Peer Education Programme that will follow in my footsteps.
