Funds needed for victims of xenophobic attacks

As a result of increasing attacks on foreign nationals, the South African Red Cross Society calls on South Africans to stand “Together for Humanity”. World Aids Day

The Coastal Branch held its World Aids Day celebrations on the 29th of November 2007. The event was attended by members of the community, volunteer caregivers, OVC, clients, Branch committee members, facilitators and staff. Flood Disasters in Greyton 2007

Between 20 and 26 November 2007 310mm rain fell in the wider Greyton/Genadendal area.
2005 total rainfall for Greyton was 502mm to put this in perspective. Thus 2/3 of the average total rainfall fell in just 3 ½ days.
